Etna erupted the day before our arrival but everything else was exceptional

Extremely clean, new and well designed. Plenty of space, especially when traveling with 3 kids.

We decided to stay at the new holiday home 'le tre scimmiette chic' because last year I had a lovely time at the original 'le tre scimmiette', and had met Alessio, the very kind and helpful host. The apartment 'Le tre scimmiette chic' is just below 'Le tre scimmiette' and so has all the advantages of the location – view of the magnificent Mt. Etna, easy parking, Lidl supermarket across the road and great bars and restaurants nearby. 'Le tre scimmiette chic' certainly lives up to its name. It is tastefully decorated with new fixtures and fittings and some very original mural designs. It has wifi and air-conditioning. It’s a great location for families who want to go to Etnaland, the biggest and best theme and water park in the south of Italy (7.3 kilometres away) or for ‘culture vultures’ who want to explore the historic hill of Paternò and other interesting towns on the slopes of Mt. Etna. Not to mention the glorious Mt. Etna itself! It is just half an hour’s drive to Catania with its ancient Greek and Roman ruins and Baroque architecture. Thanks once again to Alessio. We will be back!

Great place on the edge of town. Parking in the street outside. Bed very comfortable.

brand new apartment the mattress and pillows were the best ever near by restaurants, supermarkets and other the owners are extra nice and helpful

since it is a new apartment, their are sometimes small things to be corrected

It didn't bother me, but the pillows were very firm. Suggest a revised cover picture. When viewed small does not make sense or reflect tastefully presented seated area.

Easy and safe parking. The view of Mount Etna. The Norman castle on the historic hill. Gorgeous, tastefully decorated apartment. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful host.

No complaints - it was all lovely.
