Hotel y Glamping Azul María Bacalar

Location close to the lagoon visible from the pool area. Room comfortable and spacious.

For what we paid it was a decent accommodation in a lovely natural surrounding .

Spacy room with a beautiful view on the laguna, Room was thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis, Large and comfortable bed with the whitest of laken, Overall a good hotel, so we decided to stay a few days more.

Hotel had some electricity issues due to massive rains with the air conditioning and water pump going off (neither toilet working nor any running water). This was fixed by the staff within same day. Also, some water was leaking through bathroom window and balkony door. The hotel is rather away from the center and has limited choices for food in the vicinity, but was not a big issue since we had a car.

Everything is New and clean.

Our door was a heavy and hard to slide. Other than that it was great.

The place is new and has a nice feeling. The view from the pool is great and it's quiet despite being on the main road. The aircon is not too noisy.

It took us some time to find the hot water switch (outside the place) so we had a few cold showers. There was enough parking for one car only (however street parking is available a few meters away). I didn't realise the bathroom sink is inside the bedroom. It's too far from the main area of restaurants and cafes. You'll need a bicycle or a car.

Great value for money, basic but with towels, pool, hot water and near to bacalar center

it was a little trouble when paying and the room was not cleaned the second night, not sure if is a normal practice.

Very nice small hotel with very helpful staff!

They had a few problems with all the water, but they fixed it right away.
