Deluxe Apartment Joia with balcony near Old Town and Bacvice Beach

Nagyon közel volt a parthoz és az óvároshoz, mégis csendes környezetben. Gyalogosan is el lehetett érni mindent. Szépen berendezett, jól felszerelt apartman.

The location is perfect. 5mins walk away from the beach. Very close to the old town as well. The car we rent is a large SUV. It’s hard to park in side of the freeway parking place. Good news is the parking place along side of the road is free during the night and charges 9.6 euro for a whole day. The host is very thoughtful. Helped us figure out the parking ticket issue.

We had an amazing stay at the lovely Joia apartment. The apartment is well furnished, clean and has everything that you need for your stay. We were the most smitten by the location. Located in a very beautiful neighborhood, close to the beach, park and old town Split. I think the pictures of the apartment on the booking.com do not even come close to the real experience that you get when you visit. Our host Melinda was very nice, hospitable and was alawys available for the questions. We would definitely come again and recommend the accomodation to our friends.

Easily walkable to town and the beach.

Beds smelled like cigarette smoke.

The entrance to the parking lot here is very narrow. I was guided by the landlord to the empty parking lot in front of the house, and the side door of my car was broken while I was parking. The landlord blamed my poor driving skills and did not compensate me for this. My car is a Volkswagen Golf, and travelers with medium and large vehicles will have great difficulty parking. If you cannot park in the free parking lot, you will have to pay for parking in a nearby paid parking lot. Please check this and make a reservation. For reference, I am attaching photos of the damage to my car as I was entering the parking lot entrance and photos of the actual parking lot entrance.

This apartment is ideally situated if you want to be near a sand beach, and walking distance to the old town. The neighborhood has many hidden gems for restaurants and coffee shops. There is a decent grocery store nearby as well if you want that option. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well kitted out for anything you need. The balcony is great for some sunny morning coffee. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the living space functional for two adults and a teenager. We really enjoyed our three nights stay.

The apartment was easy to find and had a parking spot right in front, but a little challenging to get in and out. That was okay with us because the location was great for walking to the beach, restaurants, and the old town area. 15 minutes walk to most places. The balcony was nice to sit and relax. The apartment is in a quiet area
