This is our second time staying here in a matter of weeks. Really nice place to stay, clean, everything your need is already in there and my kids loved it. We will be back.

What an amazing little gem. The place was spotless and was more spacious than the pictures would lead you to believe. We will definitely be back.

Clean tidy

What can i say pauric and his family have really made a nice little set up in "The Forge" house 2. Lovely accommodation a home away from home in a fantastic little village. The house itself has a lovely comfortable feel with a comfy sofa for all the family or friends to gather, bedrooms have good beds, bedding and wardrobes to set up your belongings. Bathroom spotless with a fantastic shower!! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need good electric hob, oven,microwave ,coffee machine kettle toaster,fridge/ freezer ,dishwasher( very handy) even a iron and ironing board. They also had a fan which was used daily as we had good weather and house was very warm. Washing machine and dryer was ideal less packing and ideal for fussy teenagers who( needed)a Pacific item of clothing!! Tv can stream Netflix Disney the works. Lovely decorative bits to add to the home away from home vibe! Also a good outdoor area which was lovely in itself and plenty of seating and privacy and also some area sheltered ideal with Irish weather. The building and outdoor area were both spotless and fresh looking throughout. The village itself is lovely and friendly ideal for anyone with a car to go to many different activities but can come back to have some peace and quiet , the house was just across the road to a lovely little shop with everything you could need and a pub with ice cold drinks and good pub grub and both had the most pleasant staff. Overall we had the most enjoyable stay with 2 teenagers who didn't complain once in the 5 days it's 5 stars for The forge Cottage house 2 and 5 stars for bridgetown. We will definitely be back!

I couldn't say anything bad about our 5 night stay.

We just home from our stay in The Forge, Cottage 2, the one on the left as you enter courtyard gate. It is in great location only 15 minutes from Kilmore Quay, nice drive to Hook Lighthouse, shop right across road, and bar beside it has 4 pool tables out back and serves pizza! Flat was newly finished to nice standard, nice to have lil tables out in courtyard we sat out to eat. Great TV apps, and good WiFi

As previous reviewer mention there's no opening windows tho, which leaves it bit claustrophobic and stuffy, they have now left a fan in there but we still had to leave outside door open to get air, and one of the rooms with bunk bed is quiet small so with 2 teenagers in it was very warm and stuffy,. Large double bed comfortable tho in small room. I would suggest bedside lamps too for reading etc and a welcome card with instructions for appliances and perhaps a lil welcome pack we always found lovely in other places

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and modern. The courtyard is a lovely feature. Would be better if there was a bbq on site.

The ventilation wasn’t great and you couldn’t open any of the windows.
