Klein Doorn Farm Stay

Die stilte was awesome.

It's a. beautiful little cottage, very peaceful and quiet. It does make you feel that you can unwind and relax! The sunrise was very pretty to watch early in the morning!

It did not bother me to read its solar powered, but I think the guests must be warned prior to booking that no other electrical appliances may be used other than charging your cellphone or camera as some ladies needs to use a hairdryer 😅 it is also recommended to maybe put a notice up close to the outdoor shower on how to operate it, not everyone feels like reading through a manual after a long day's travel. Also maybe some more "latte" around the outdoor shower to make you feel a little less exposed! 😜 but other than that, hopefully read as constructive criticism, everything was lovely for a true farm stay!

The best place to just unwind. We absolutely loved staying here. The quiet and sirene landscape was definitely a big thumbs up for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend staying here!

The beauty of the Klein Karoo and the peacefull surrounding nature.

This was the best place we stayed during our trip. It is incredibly remote and peaceful. Although 7 cottages are available we were the only guest on the days we stayed and we could really enjoy the silence and quietness of the farm. There is no internet available which makes the experience even better.

Nothing

I liked the rooms, they were clean and comfortable

The toilet got blocked and couldn't flush properly

The view, the stoep, the braai, the beds were comfortable and nicely decorated, the kitchen was stocked with nice crockery,

The wooden chopping board (instead of plastic), the salad bowl was too small for 4 people, every window rattled when the wind picked up, had to shove dish towels and toilet paper in the gaps and go outside to pull the thorn bush away from scratching the gutter, not having an indoor shower, the outside shower only had hot water when you ran the bath's hot tap, the two chairs in the kitchen have no springs left, only one plug near the floor so charging your phones means you have to put them on the floor
