Looking slightly tired in need of a refresh

The property was very cosy and looked after, the log fire in the room was amazing, it was a little chilly when we went, so that was burning constantly, it made the cabin so warm and cosy, we loved it! The garden is huge and secure and the surrounding location was also secure and spacious! The kitchen had everything we needed, a huge bath (which we all loved, especially our son) and the beds were very comfy and i have bad back problems, but the best 2 nights sleep i’ve had in weeks. Gabby always replied to my messages promptly and she was very friendly :)

Our only issue with the property was the door, it’s a key code and you can’t lock it from the inside, not ideal with an Autistic child. It put us on edge a little, but that was our own issue. Everything else was spot on and we’d 100% go back!

Polyester sheets. No recycling facilities. The outside door didn't seem very secure.

Good location. Secure garden for the dogs. The cabin was quirky, clean & all amenities.

Booked a short break out of season while visiting a Doncaster racecourse event. Very easy to find, well signed from the main road. Secure compound, ample parking. Lovely sized garden for the family and dogs, though the weather didn't allow us to use it fully this time, it most definitely will be useful the next time. Price was very reasonable for the accommodation facilities, had everything we needed. Though there wasn't a washing machine, for a short term stay this didn't cause us any real issues. Plenty of events we could see planned for the seasonal periods, and there were some lovely walks near to the site which we would definitely explore next time. There are a couple of local pubs a short distance away, the Kings Arms was absolutely great for the family and dogs. The food from the local Indian restaurant (Saffron) was also amazing. Haxey is most definitely a little gem. Definitely get another visit planned soon during warmer months of the year.

Good size and secure for dogs. Easy to park next to property. Wood stove heats very well

The door needs replacing and needs a blind for night time. The window blinds are old and need replacing as they do not cut out the light from the street lights. Wood stove burns too hot and air vent will not turn down.

Very cosy for a winter escape. Woodburner and log supply made for a very toasty stay. Large sofa, comfy beds, very clean and tidy.

Nothing major. We had a lovely few days there.
