Rest on Millvale guest house

The place is in a perfect location, with shoping center and other facilities close, but what I saw when I got there wasn't what I expected ( not what is displayed on internet)

1/5 - Terrible experience, not clean and no privacy I stayed here with my partner last weekend and we were extremely disappointed. Cleanliness: The house was not clean. The toilet mats were wet and dirty when we arrived. TV remote: We struggled to use the TV because the remote was broken - the battery cover was missing. We only got it to work after twisting the batteries around. Noise/Privacy: The shared setup is a bad idea. We could hear full conversations from other rooms, so there was zero privacy. Bedding: The bedding did not smell nice or fresh. Check-in: We couldn’t find the place at first. Uber dropped us at the location on the booking, but we still had to call to be directed to the actual entrance. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I would not recommend and won’t be returning.

It was clean. But that's all I will give it since we did not stay at this specific place that we paid for! We had to give out extra traveling fees because of the location change and for that I would like to be compensated

We paid to.stay here but miraculously they didn't know o booked 2 rooms so they shifted us to.the dodgy area of Woodstock. With a sizeable price difference and refusing to refund us the difference. They also didn't call me back because I requested to speak to.the manager a few times but they were never available. We also were never informed that we needed to pay for towels.

Unfortunately, there was very little to like about this stay. The only positive was that we were able to get assistance when we asked around. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

The booking details were unclear, and we were told only one room was reserved instead of two. We were shown a room already occupied by strangers and expected to share, which raised safety concerns. The alternative accommodation was in poor condition, with dirty curtains and ripped pillows, and felt unsafe.

I was dissatisfied with several aspects of this guest house. Firstly, although it operates as a shared accommodation, there is no indication of this on Booking.com, which is misleading. Secondly, there is no consideration for guest safety, as males and females are mixed without proper arrangements. There is only one shared bathroom, which female guests must share with male occupants, raising serious concerns about privacy and safety. Furthermore, the property was in an unclean condition and lacked basic household essentials. For example, there were no pots, spoons, or dishcloths available upon arrival; these were only provided after we raised complaints. Additionally, there is no on-site receptionist. Guests are required to wait for someone else to enter or exit in order to gain access, which is highly inconvenient and unprofessional. Overall, the management appears disorganized, and the level of service is extremely poor. I would strongly advise others not to book this accommodation, as it does not provide a safe or satisfactory experience. Lastly, on a Friday night at approximately 22:00–23:00, an individual who identified himself as the manager arrived accompanied by three men, stating that he was there to check them in. This occurred while the accommodation was occupied by female guests only, which was both inappropriate and concerning. This incident further highlights the lack of professionalism, poor management practices, and disregard for guest safety. I am extremely disappointed with how this establishment operates.
