The Ramsgate Bay Flat

It’s an all round lovely apartment to stay in both spacious and well lit. Looks exactly like the ad. The heater looks small but warms the room up in no time. The WiFi is strong- no issues there. The location is perfect to be a short walk from the beach and harbour.

Maybe an update in kitchen appliances, some cannot be used. The water pressure hot water wise is not ideal, when considering washing up dishes in the kitchen

Location of the accomodation is great, lot of space and clean house.

Only tiny issue was the damaged shower head (reducing water pressure). All the rest is great and in very good condition. We really appreciated our stay in this house.

Very spacious perfectly clean well equipped can’t fault it

The amount of stairs up to the flat were a lot as it’s a top flat but it made the view amazing across the sea

Location is not bad and on street parking was not difficult to find

I have never previously walked out of a property that I have booked but this booking was the worst experience I have ever had. Opening the front door there was a damp smell. There were stains on the stair carpet leading up to the flat. It was noticeably cold. We found that most of the windows didnt work properly. The bathroom window was missing part of the frame and the lock. The heater in the bathroom did not work, one heater in one bedroom worked but most of the other heaters didnt work. There were white stains on the bed linen and blood stains visible on the edge of the mattress where the sheets didnt cover it. After about 20 mins of trying to get the place to warm up we left and went to stay in the travelodge in town instead. I reported the issues with photographs of the defects and have had several " we are looking into it and will get back to you " messages from the agents. I asked for a refund on the basis that in my view the property was not fit for human habitation. I dont know whether previous renters had vandalised the property but the dreadful state combined with the lack of heat, general dirtiness and lack of response to my complaints means that this property needs to be flagged as poor. I forgot to mention the sticky stains on the sofa in the lounge. I have photographs of all the defects we found but there is no facility that I can see to post them here

So cosy great sized rooms

The flat was very big, very clean, beds very good

No mirrors in flat, broken bathroom window, no microwave, hallway and stairs had a lot of stains and did not smell very nice .and no door number or name on outside of block, so was not sure if I had right place, and address different to your advert on booking.com

The Flat was warm , the Rooms are big and once inside its ok ... but and its a big but the walk up to the flat is really troubling … It is a badly presented property from the street door all the way up to the top of the building Host is pleasant on the phone and helpful but gosh what a shock I don't understand how the only other review is a 10 as its is not anywhere a 10 as a building

We stayed in Flat 4 Gina court and found the communal hallways to be extremely gross , felt like we were entering a drug den , scary and unpleasant , my wife felt insecure and the mess made us all think about building safety and hygiene Stained carpets / floors , piles of mail in hallway , badly decorated halls and signs of mould and damp on walls ... backed up by a strong smell of damp on entering building. Door lock to flat loose :-( and nearly every painted surface front the front door up to the flat was is complete disrepair filthy and heavily chipped Table in main room collapsed the moment my daughter walked past it ... it seems the leg of the table is not attached to the table top .. The Shower did not work either so no shower for my daughter and wife but the bath did .. Hard to work out how to get keys as there are a few systems on door that confuse .. but we worked it out in complete darkness as there is no outside lighting on step The flat inside is ok but boy does this property need to renovate the communal areas and make some effort to present the inner flat in better light as the flat is ok once inside but i would not stay again

The whole flat was decorated to a high standard and was very surprised how big the rooms were. Could not fault the accomadation at all. Right near the sea front and located very well. Had a brilliant stay

The bathroom window and front room window needed a little attention apart from that was amazing
