"Beautiful luxury apartment but some problems"

Location is excellent, right by the lakes for strolling or exercising. The views from the apartment are spectacular, across to the Pico de Orizaba on a clear day. The attention to detail in the apartment, the kitchen supplies, and the lighting is superb.

Check-in was shambolic. The apartment had not been cleaned following the previous guests' visit, and it took 3 hours to contact the host and organise a cleaning so we could finally get some sleep around midnight (the host did offer a discount by way of apology, though). Also nearly every cupboard door in the kitchen was somehow broken or hanging off its hinges.
