Very warm welcoming and the place was just perfect in a lively area in Palermo. Save motorbike parking behind a locked gate.

!! Host (Giusy) was very, very kind and helpful. She arranged things so we can leave our luggage after we checked out. I can feel her hospitality even I speak no Italian. - There are a lot of warm touching details in the accommodation, e.g. an abundance of cookware in the kitchen; light breakfast is available; there are additional towels for us to use. - The accommodation is cutely decorated. For example the pot holders are plastic bottles inverted and painted with eyebrows. !! Spacious private parking space. - Large supermarket is within walking distance. - Monreale is easily accessible. Do visit the Cathedral there as it is such a beautiful place.

- Accommodation is on the second floor and have to be accessed through stairs. This was however known upfront by us when we place the booking. - The traffic on SS186 is pretty busy at all times so getting to and out of the accommodation is challenging. This is just a consideration as all of Palermo is just as busy.

Certainly one of the very best self catering accommodations we have experienced in our many years of international travel. Courtesy, modern conveniences, clean, and location as good as it gets. Highly recommended.

Caution. If you decide to take the downstairs bedroom (superbly outfitted) rather than upstairs b/r. Stairs to only bathroom (upstairs) can be a little "tricky" for those of us older folks...
