The quietist place I stayed in Bali - right in the centre but no road noise. Beautiful gardens and a great room. Convenient location.

Beautiful and quiet, great location to be immersed in nature and close to restaurants and coffee shops. There’s much care taken to maintain this family run accommodation. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast food is good and the rooms are cleaned fairly regularly. The walls are partially open at the top to the outside, which adds a beautiful ambience so long as you have quiet neighbours. The rooms are surrounded by trees and gardens, and you can hear birdsong, restful. The bonus of a kitchen and drinking water is a perk.

I had a downstairs neighbor who was fighting on the phone at 2am two nights in a row and because the walls are open to the night air I was woken up to the details of her argument. it’s a gamble that you’re going to get considerate neighbors, perhaps I was just unlucky. the ambience that is created with the open wall is otherwise quite pleasant.
