The hostel staff gave me an upgrade, so I had a single room with private bathroom. She also allowed me to stay after the regular check out time as I had an afternoon bus ride. There were many areas for guests to hang out at the rooftop. Laundry could be hung under a covered area, an important condition as it rains a lot in this town. Although the kitchen at the rooftop was well equipped, there were parts of the space that were not completed, leaving an impression that construction was still ongoing. In a review I read about this hostel prior to going there, it mentioned plenty of birds around the place early in the morning. Well, the only sounds throughout day or night are the tuktuks passing by. No birds or animals except dogs could be seen or heard.

The host was very friendly. The place is in the middle of the market so you can explore it. I would come back for sure.

That it was quite noisy when the noise comes up from the street.
