Maes y Gwaelod

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Maes y Gwaelod, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, everything was truly exceptional. The location was really nice with beautiful and tranquil surroundings. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness really stood out, making us feel valued as guests. Every morning, we looked forward to a fantastic breakfast with fresh, delicious ingredients that set the tone for a wonderful day. Overall, Maes y Gwaelod exceeded my expectations in every way. Very spacious rooms, snacks available upon arrival. Very quiet surroundings and good home cooked breakfast. Friendly staff.

sandra and charlie were very welcoming and kind beautiful b+b in a stunning location.Breakfast was lovely homemade full english. we stayed in the family room which was very well equipped and lovely little extras like homemade welsh cakes/scones and little toiletries in in bathroom is a lovely touch to any stay. We definitely will stay again and would recommend thank you for your hospitality and kindness see you again soon.

There is nothing we didn't like about it it's was lovely just didn't get a lot of sleep as there was a family staying opposite us with little ones which I know mine were little once so i understand. They kept waking up and crying and woke up pretty early bit noisy. As we drove a long way so needed the sleep. But we would still return to stay here.

I booked a suite but they provide me a room only which was bit awkward.
