LOW COST RESORT NAHA AiRPORT

I really liked the drink bar (free soda (and a good variety at that!!), coffee, tea and ice), microwave and 3 free bikes (didn't have the time to use them, but the staff showed us it already had locks and lights). If you leave your used towels on the basket outside, they leave you fresh ones on the same day. The staff was very kind in explaining where to head for a market and a konbini when we checked in. In the room we also found some plastic bags so you don't have to buy them when shopping, a very thoughtful amenity! Also, there was a washing machine, but only one, so I could never get to use it since some other guest was always using it for 2 hours every time I went to check, but there's a Hut coin laundry nearby and it worked great. It's around 25 min walking to Kokusai Dori and 15 min to Asahibashi monorail station (I don't know why Google maps went crazy and showed me and my husband weird routes on foot, but for both you can just exit the hotel to the right and turn right and go straight all the way in Nishisyobosyodori (the wide street with the Firefighters). What we didn't like: no ramp on the entrance, only stairs (although the owner helped us take our suitcases downstairs when checking out and there's an elevator inside the building, so it's overall fine); the room smelled a bit like cigarettes, specially when turning on the AC (bought an air/fabric freshener spray from a kombini and problem solved; also, to be fair, the listing never said it was a non smoking room); there was a bit of mold around the drain in the bathtub, so we only showered, we didn't feel comfortable soaking in it; the bathroom door had a few mysterious brown splatters inside, which I cleaned with wet wipes, and last, I found an used shaving blade in the crack between the futons, which I also found a bit icky.

A very clean property, exceptionally comfortable bed.

I have tried to contact the property several time because I was arriving late and need help with airport pick up. I have tried through booking, email and even track down their facebook page. No response. I got to the property at 10pm and no one was at the reception. Eventually someone came and the first thing he said was"I have been waiting for you since 3pm" The property is not that bad but actually overpriced in comparison to hotels near by. You can find 3 star hotels room for the same budget and much closer to the centre.

you have free toothpaste but no free toothbrush. the room is filled with the smell of someone smoking. wifi is terrible
