Friendly host

Made to feel very welcome, the room was amazing, had an amazing stay, definitely a home from home and would definitely stay again

There was nothing I didn't like

It seemed to be a nice little set up with separate kitchen and bathroom,

The bed was very uncomfortable and we couldn't sleep on it. The mattress was so soft and seemed to slope and the bed frame creeked when u tried to move. My husband had to lay on the small kids beds which were very small for a larger man. The noise from the main road wasn't good either.

Very welcoming host. Lovely comfortable accommodation. Breakfast included which was in the beautiful main house. Anne made us feel very welcome. Great place to stop. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

A bit of noise from the traffic on main road but nothing to intrusive.

Before we even left home, Annie had emailed me with directions from Carlisle to the location, which were very easy to follow. When we arrived, we were welcomed and shown into the main building where breakfast would be in the morning. We were then shown to our appartment which was seperate from the main house. Although the apartment was a adjacent to the A595, we were barely aware of the traffic due to the high hedges. In the main room, there was a large bed as well as a foldout for additional guests, a table and four chairs, a sofa, tv and wi-fi available. Attached was a small kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave, oven/hob and sink. Plenty of crockery, glassware and cutlery/utensils were available. There was a small shower room with toilet and washbasin. Everything that you could possibly need was there. Within a couple of minutes drive of the apartment, are two SPAR shops and a Domino's pizza place. We bought bits from a SPAR and made use of the kitchen. In the morning, there was a large selection of cereals, breads, toppings and fruit. Choices of beverages were also available. Annie and her mother are wonderful, friendly hosts and I can't remember a time where I felt more welcome in a "hotel".

Everything was laid out nicely with many options. Having a outside area to sit and eat and relax was especially lovely
