Luray RV Resort on Shenandoah River

It was very convenient. Larger than I thought it would be. Very nice accommodations. Accommodating staff.

The Internet never worked while I was there. There were three attempts to fix it, but to no avail.

Very clean and well kept. We loved it.

Our WIFI didn’t work in the airstream, but we made do and loved our stay anyway.

The property has a spacious territory, but unfortunately, the houses do not look the same as in the photos. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 small children (2–3 years old). We booked a house advertised with 3 bedrooms, but in reality, there were only 2. The rooms are quite small. The dining table is located on the outdoor terrace, which is not comfortable when the weather is cold, especially if you’re traveling with kids. One of the bedrooms is under the roof, which makes it inconvenient for families with small children. Overall, the location is nice, but the description and photos should be more accurate.

Our 2 bdr cottage was super clean and felt spacious. We were surprised to also find a full size refrigerator. There were kitchen utensils, a toaster, microwave and a 12 cup coffee maker, too. Loved the screened in porch. This place is great for traveling with dogs.There are easily accessible walking trails along the the river and the doggie playground is another bonus .

Though there were plenty of towels and bed linens, there were no blankets provided. We were ok though. because temperatures were mild during our stay, and the rooms are climate . controlled. It just was one of those things we didn’t expect

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful! What a great price too! We loved having the campground experience but basically had a house to stay in. The views...and being so close to the caverns was great. Has great amenities however...see "what didn't you like"

We didn't get to enjoy any of the amenties ....such as the pool, water slides, games, store, golf cart rental, because everything closes at 5pm!!! Even on the weekends!!! We arrived on a Thursday...at 4...and they closed the office/store early for some reason (around 430 instead of 5...not mentioning that to us when we checked in). so...we had to make a trip to Walmart and get everything we needed to make a fire, etc. In the morning...there was barely any hot water. It lasted maybe 2-4 minutes.
