Shri Kailash Pati Guest House- Opposite Kashi Vishwanath Temple

It was a good location being able to walk everywhere, The rooms are spacious which is good if you are travelling with a small group

Don't expect to be able to sleep, the guest house is located directly opposite Kashi Vishwanath Temple which is great to look at but it has outdoor speakers facing your direction playing the same song (only 40 seconds long) on repeat from 3am - 12am

Very clean, comfortable accommodation, close to everywhere, excellent staff, we are very happy.

Location was just opposite to Temple gate - very convenient Room / Bed size was comfortable for 4 people. AC and hot water was available throughout the stay Lighting was good. Advantage of the location - you get out of the room, you are in a bazar - you get everything you need.

Even though, Booking.com website mentioned, no-prepayment, this property took advance - INR 5000 in our case on 7th March itself. Once checked in on 13th March found the room not up to expectation (unclean toilet and bathroom, dirty bed spread and blankets. Unclean floor etc. We got the sheets and bed spread changed. They didn't do anything about toilet seat. By evening (day of check-in) room boy came and asked full payment (upfront). When told, will be paid next day, they were not listening and started pressurizing to make the immediate payment. A person by name Vedant (not very sure of name) was mentioning about cutting off electricity and things like that if we do not adhere to their policy of full payment while checking in etc. I had to call his manager Aamir to intervene. Then the calls stopped. Overall, our experience was very bad. There is a huge difference between the photograph shared on website and reality. The approach to the room is very bad - Almost, you are entering this room from a busy market area - not maintained at all. Suggest - Booking.com to conduct some level of basic survey before including hotels / rooms on their website.

I went with my family and had a pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. The staff were very cooperative and always just a phone call away, ready to assist with anything we needed.

The only downside was the sound of the temple nearby, which can be a bit disruptive at times. However, considering it's the time of the Mahakumbh, I can't expect anything better. Additionally, I would suggest improving the ventilation in the bathroom for a better overall experience. Otherwise, everything was great!
