Had trouble getting into the building through the front door on the street. Eventually called the host who was frankly quite short and sharp with her response only stating that she had sent a message via booking.com. Having not been aware to receive a message about entry I hadn't expected this. However I found the message which was vague. It stated a PIN number for a key box and then had a series of photos of a street setting at various different stages, the last photograph was of a key lock box. No other instruction. It felt as though we were on a game show attempting to identify features in the photographs to work out the secret location of the key box. We eventually deciphered the photos and the key box was located approximately 150 metres away, across a road and around a corner! Here we found multiple key boxes attached to metal railings. So had to try every keybox with the PIN to find the right one. A bizarre arrangement to say the least. Next time we will just stay in a city centre hotel.
