The park is very quiet and peaceful. We could just walk over to the canal and watch the sunset, it is only 20mtr. The accommodation had ample outdoor chairs for relaxation. The outdoor area was very need and clean.

The 2nd bedroom was very small and the ladder in the middle of the bunkbed made it difficult to get in the bottom bed. Nowadays you expect wifi in every accommodation. (the advertisement did mention that Wifi is only available at the restaurant)

"A perfect hide away of quiet away from the bustling city."

Beautiful home with heating available, the host is very responsive on emails. You will have access to a nice kitchen equipped for self-catering.

There is no wifi available. You will have to rent linen on arrival which will be an extra charge. Do not stay here if you do not have a private vehicle as you will need one to get around. We struggled tremendously as there is no bolt/Uber available. It will be easier for foreigners in future if the city tax is included in the booking price and if the ad clearly states the extra charges up front.

"Disappointing"

Lovely, quiet area with some pleasant “neighbours”. Secure parking available.

1. Lack of communication from the host ahead of the stay - no message to let me know an email had been sent (which went to my spam folder) containing important information; 2. No bed linens/bedding, no towels provided or available at the properly - hand towels or otherwise; 3. The heating did not work consistently and no instructions provided. The property was absolutely freezing so we had to literally layer up to stay warm; 4. We were given different information about the towels and bedding and when advised to speak with reception no guidance was provided as to where to find it. Due to the location of the property this needs to be stated. Even if you managed to get them from reception it’d cost you extra; 5. No soap in the bathroom; 6. No hot water; 7. Lightbulb not working.
