Lush plants. Close to beach. Quiet. Excellent room close to ocean

Too many cats in restaurant taking over. Under tables chairs not a great for sanitation The dogs on beach are unpredictable in behavior. Management called and spoken to directly. I hope they resolve this soon!

Conveniently located between stone town and the airport. Friendly staff. Nice sunset and nice vibe restaurant.

Has seen better days. Pool and beach chairs a bit shabby. We booked a “junior suite” but got a damp room with a basement feel. They charge extra if you arrive early. Breakfast took forever to arrive.

We checked in at the last day of our stay on Zanzibar island. We had been harassed by locals purporting as Masai on the North side of the island and the east side of the island. Mbweni provided the needed sanctuary were we can enjoy the beach without being harassed or molested. We also liked the sustainability principles employed by the hotel.

Nothing. The stay was short but excellent. There was nothing bad to say about our stay here. The only down side was that we could have stayed for longer.

Nice location and greenery outside, a good garden.

Slow service for breakfast.

Its a beautiful magical place. The ruins and garden are beautiful and the rooms as well with the balcony
