The owner contacted us at the last minute requesting to cancel the booking, claiming he had already accepted another reservation. This was inaccurate, as the property was still showing as available on Booking.com at that time. He may have taken a booking through another platform, but this behavior was highly unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly as we had carefully planned our trip with an infant.
