Only issue is that it’s not walking distance from the centre so a taxi/car is needed. However, loads of shops and cafes in the area.

The air conditioning worked fine, although it leaked on the balcony – a bucket had to be placed underneath. The appartment had a full kitchen and a washing machine, which was convenient. The windows had shutters and privacy glass, providing some privacy.

Unfortunately, there were several downsides to this stay. The sofa was stained and looked dirty. There was no iron available, there was no private pool as listed – only a shared one – and the TV with streaming services did not work, despite being advertised on Booking.com. The bathrooms were unhygienic: we found two small blood stains on the tiles, there was mold, and one of the toilet seats was broken. Under the beds it was very dusty, and some of the towels had visible stains. We were received not by a host, but by security staff and cleaners, which felt unprofessional. I had requested free private parking, which was offered in the listing. However, on the first day we were denied access to the underground garage. We called the host that evening and were told we could collect the remote the next day at 12:00 from the security guard – but this never happened, not that day and not the days after. We had to park outside in 40°C heat every day, which was extremely inconvenient. To make things worse, on the last night at midnight, the host messaged me on WhatsApp asking for an additional 200 MAD (€20) for city tax. Both I and my travel companion have dual nationality, including Moroccan, and we both hold a valid Moroccan ID, which legally exempts us from paying this tax. Instead of being clear and organized from day one, extra costs were suddenly brought up at the end, and the host seemed more concerned about getting money than providing proper service. We paid €244 euros for 4 nights - Check in at 15:00PM 27th of juli - Check out at 11:00AM 31st of juli. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this apartment to others.
