GBArriving at this stunning homestead feels like coming home after years at sea. Jane works incredibly hard to make sure guests feel comfortable, and even a little pampered! The rooms are large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It set deep in the peaceful countryside, and some gorgeous villages are within walking distance. This place is good for the soul, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

GBWe loved everything about High Park Farm. Lovely location, clean, comfortable accomodation with the most gorgeous views. But most of all, Jane's hospitality was the highlight of our stay. She could not have been more warm and friendly, going out of her way to make our stay memorable. From the delicious brownies to the best breakfasts, we hope to return for more.

GBThe farm location, the views, the space was all excellent. Jane couldn't have been more welcoming , just what we needed after a ten hour journey. We chose not to have a 'full' breakfast, but the 'healthy' breakfast prepared for us was perfect and made us feel healthier by just looking at what Jane had prepared. The little private sitting room with tv etc was comfortable and a perfect retreat after a day in the sun.
only the uneven drive up to the farm; ideally the first time needs to be in daylight. No worse though than many of the roads we had just driven on.
GBDespite a mix up with the booking Jane switched some things around to ensure our stay could go ahead. I shared with Jane that the trip was also a celebration as I had received some news regarding my professional status; upon arrival Jane had set us up champagne and delicious brownies! The room was tastefully decorated with a view simply to die for! The bed was comfortable, and the bedding and pillows were of high quality- as a person who is diagnosed with chronic pain and hypermobility- sleep set up is very important and this was more than accommodating. There was lovely finishing touches throughout. I skipped breakfast in favour of a lie in, but my husband took breakfast and said he ate like a king.
I would say everything was amazing, if I would offer any change that could perhaps improve it would be that there could be a lock on the bedroom door as we didn't notice one. Also the showers temperature was a little tricky to get right but compared to the rest this was minor. This place is very far out and if you are wanting something lively this isn't for you. For us we wanted a retreat, to relax and reset and that is what we got.
