there is no door to the room, no way to cose the window completely and you might have to sleep on a bed in the hallway. really hard beds with thin mattresses but you get what tou pay for!

My room is really dark; it always needs lights during the day. That's the only thing.

It was comfortable and clean. The man was really nice. Ratio quality/price is really good. Well located in Ella.

Location , cleanliness and breakfast. The owner ,cum Manager cum worker is great 👍

He needs to have some basic requirements like, Hot Water Kettle,proper bathroom lock.

Overall hostel vibes are very chill and the place is very artsy.

I had a very strange experience with the man working there - on the day of my arrival he didn't have a change for 5000lkr, so I said to him that I will change it in the restaurant and bring later. He insisted that I pay and he gives me change later. Okay fair enough, no problem.But when I was leaving next day in the morning he still didn't have the change and he got all weird about it, wanted ME to change the 5000lkr. I was in the rush to meet my friends and catch a bus and this made the entire morning very stressed. I was not planning to write anything, as I don't like to spread the negativity, but an hour later I got a notification from booking.com that my booking was cancelled by the hostel, because I NEVER CHECKED IN? This made me think that there is really something not okay about this man, so just be careful please.
