The Burds Nest

We had the most amazing stay here for our anniversary. The place is so nicely done- it’s super clean, cosy and private, the bed is so comfy, and the views are amazing! The hot tub is incredible too!! Theresa and her husband are lovely and were flexible with check out which was greatly appreciated. We’d highly recommend and will be back!

Very easy to find, with a warm welcome when we arrived. A lovely touch was the bottle of bubbles in the fridge. The Burds nest is lovely decorated and had everything you needed to hand. Amazing views all around, with the bonus of a hot tub. Our dogs were able to run free around the grounds whilst we were able to keep an eye on them without having to get off the lovely swinging chair.

The location is beautiful, the views are stunning and so peaceful and quiet. The hot tub on an evening was lovely to relax in with some bubbles.

A really lovely stay. Theresa was great and very helpful. It was very peaceful and the facilities were great. The chickens were lovely too!

What an absolutely amazing place.The Shepherds was very clean, comfortable,private and well set out with everything needed for a nice break.The Prosecco,milk and crisps provided by the host was a very nice and welcome gesture.I am a very light sleeper but slept like a log due to the very comfortable bed.The bathroom was spacious and shower was nice and hot.We spent a great deal of time in the hot tub looking out across the field watching the rabbits,hens and pony’s.Another great feature is the roof above the hot tub which means it can be used on a rainy day but still lets the sun through on a nice day.The outdoor patio area was lovely to sit out on with the very sociable hens walking around your feet.We could only book the one night due to the property already being booked up for the following few days and we will definitely come back and for longer.We would definitely recommend the Burds Nest to anybody looking for a relaxing break.

Nothing to dislike

The property is nice and secluded. Lovely for an escape from the world. Clean and well stocked. Great for the dogs.

Very private, clean and comfortable stay, hot tub was lovely! Perfect spot near a pub, lovely looking across the field and seeing the horses, chickens, bunnies and birds!
