Padi-Padi Pool Villas

Beautiful property - as shown in photos. There is a striking beauty to the outdoor area that we cherished daily. - Nice breakfast made fresh and brought to the villa daily - includes an entree, sliced fruit, and a fruit drink. Filtered water is available for free as well. - Generally peaceful. We would hear music/karaoke in the late afternoons/early evenings for 1-2 hours but then it would stop. One should expect to hear music from the neighbors on weekend nights. - Good value for the money. They take pride in maintaining this property well. Bedroom is comfortable and the bed is ok. - The Internet works well and there is a TV that allows you to access your favorite TV streaming apps for quality television watching. - The owner offers his services to help you get around (e.g. airport pickup, tourist attraction visits, massage, groceries). - We were able to use the Grab app to order dinner each night.

Sharing all that I wish I knew before booking. These aren't necessarily "bad" things, but things that one should definitely consider before booking: -Though advertised as a 2 bedroom villa, if you come as a couple (2 people) one of the bedrooms will be closed off. That is not made clear at all on the booking website and can lead to confusion. (Hopefully they have updated it by now). - There is no gym or fitness equipment onsite. You can ask to be taken someplace closeby to workout...we didn’t bother. - As they keep the property well maintained, there may be a worker or the owner coming to clean the area at seemingly random times - we didn’t mind, we just kept the gate and door closed. - As there are indoor/outdoor components of the property - bugs and even lizards naturally make their way in (as should be expected). We kept food concealed and the bathroom door closed when not in use (which has the exposed shower). -It seems the water is powered by a boiler so it can stop abruptly as it needs time to reheat. This is fine while showering but challenging while trying to wash your hair. -There can sometimes be a strong smell of smoke in the master bedroom, likely coming from outside. -As a reminder - this place is in North Bali, so you will have to drive 3 hours from the airport to get here. From here it was typically an hour or more back down to popular tourist destinations (this is typical for most accommodations).

We booked and paid for the entire villa, but upon arrival, the host had locked one of the rooms and refused to let us use it. Instead, he told us to sleep on the sofa unless we paid almost double to unlock the second room — even though it was part of what we had already paid for. I immediately contacted Booking.com for help. They assured me that if I paid the extra amount, I would be refunded. Trusting them, I paid, and we finally got access to the room. I provided all the proof, including bank transfers. Now, it's been almost two weeks — no refund and no response from Booking.com. It feels like I was scammed by both the host and Booking.com. Completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

Amazing, wonderful place, designers interiors, just lovely!

Fantastic place, exactly as in the pictures. The staff is always helpful and takes care of the villa. Breakfasts to choose from the menu - they will be delivered to the villa. The place requires a car (or motorbike) but you can ask the owner about it :)

The only downside, but this is the specificity of Bali, that some bugs will always be walking around the house - especially since the bathrooms have open ceilings and large gaps in the doors. Importantly, there were no mosquitoes.

The villa is a paradise island lost somewhere in the north of Bali. We liked it a lot. The villa's owner Puja helped us with every need we had (driving, organizing trips to waterfalls, helping by buying fruits etc.). We felt like dear guests. The villa itself is new, modern, and has a wonderful pool where we spent the evenings. We sometimes also ordered food to the villa (with Grab). 100% recommendable. We have only good memories about staying in this villa. P.S. You have to be prepared that the location is not touristic with its advantages and disadvantages. For example, there is nothing special around the villa, just houses. You have to go by car to do groceries (there is a small supermarket next to the villa though). The beach is around 15 minutes by walking, and it has black volcano sand. We saw only few tourists there and some locals, mostly children, swimming in the sea. The water was clean and without big waves (perfect for swimming) but the beach itself is wild, not "manucured". For is it was an advantage though :)

Wonderful villa. Much bigger than expected, clean, elegant. Beautiful garden with swimming pool. Breakfast was really nice and the staff was very helpful and descreet.

The garden faces the countryside directly, which is a nice view, but since there are people working in the fields in the morning and occasionally passing by, I’d would have preferred a higher fence, for more privacy.

Lovely villa. Makes good use of the space. The rice field view is lovely. Very comfortable. Felt like a 5 star hotel suite. The silence in the early morning and the view of the stars above the rice field.

Karaoke all day and constant burning from neighbours.

Pak Puja and his staff were extremely welcoming and on hand to help with any issues during your stay. The location of the villa overlooks green pastures and rice fields. Very serene, peaceful and quiet. A great place to relax or work without distractions. The amenities were excellent, the pool and garden area allowed you to fully relax away from the busy hustle of tourist spots further south in Bali. The bed was comfy and offered a great nights sleep. The breakfast provided was fresh, prepared by staff and delivered to your villa at a time of your choosing. Good kitchen allows you to bring and prepare your own food for lunch or dinner, although Pak Puja does offer afternoon and evening meals if you so wish.

I wish I could have stayed longer! A perfect getaway if you are seeking silence in a noisy world. Will be happy to return.

We were absolutely blown away by the design of the villa, the service and the location. We have visited many places in Bali and this is one of the best. We liked absolutely everything.

All was just perfect.
