Cozy Homestay in Bachok, Kelantan I recently stayed at a wonderful homestay in Bachok, Kelantan, and it was an amazing experience for my family! Here's a breakdown of our stay: Getting There The directions to the homestay were very clear and easy to follow. The host provided step-by-step instructions via WhatsApp, making the journey stress-free. It’s conveniently located near the main road but tucked away enough to ensure peace and quiet. Host Hospitality The host was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. Highlight of the Stay The private swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of the homestay! It was perfect for the kids, who had a blast splashing around for hours. The pool was well-maintained, clean, and just the right size for a small family. Facilities The homestay provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. One of the best features was the availability of cooking utensils, which allowed us to prepare light meals. The kitchenette was clean, and basic cooking tools like pots, pans, and a stove were provided, making it convenient for families who prefer home-cooked meals. Overall Experience This homestay is an excellent choice for families looking for a relaxing getaway. The combination of a kid-friendly pool, responsive host, and functional amenities made it a memorable trip for us. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bachok! Thank you for hosting us! We had a pleasant stay overall, but I’d like to provide some constructive feedback for improvement: Bed and Mattress The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort. Softer or medium-firm options, or even a mattress topper, would enhance the sleeping experience for guests. Toilet in Master Bedroom We noticed that the toilet in the master bedroom had an unpleasant smell during the day. It might benefit from improved ventilation or an air freshener to maintain freshness throughout the day. We truly appreciated the private pool and other amenities, and addressing these minor issues would make the homestay even more enjoyable. Thank you! 😊

location was off by 16 mins it was facing. the plantation aircon for every room including living room - nice

no wifi as our own mobile signal was low. and no washing machine no drying rack. we had to set aside close to an hour to sent to the nearby dobi.

The parking space, spacious room and air condition for each bedroom + in hall. The location is perfect, near to the town to your food and daily necessities. The house also not far from the capital of the state, Kota Bharu, just 30 mins driving. The best feature is definitely the private pool where you can have your unlimited playing time without worries of the safety of your kids and family as you can monitor before your very eyes conveniently.

Not really dislike, but this unit didn't provide enough cooking appliances eventhough stove is provided together accept rice cooker and water heater, however water filter with cold, neutral and hot water is provided. For plate and mug/ bowl, should have provided more for families of eg 10 occupant as this house provide 3 bedroom but only the set comes in 4 pax but nevertheless fairly enough plate, mug and cutleries. Sources for fresh, raw and ready to eat food is very near less than 5 mins away driving, therefore if you plan to cook, you need to bring your cooking appliances to facilitate yourself during the stay, but the rice cooker where you can use using your creativity :) the host even apologize for this. Otherwise others are superb such a pleasant stay!
