BISHOPS TAWTON SNOWDROP COTTAGE 3 Bedrooms

Well-designed space, well-equipped kitchen/diner (everything you need and more), great shower and secure parking. Although the windows are all velux, so no direct view, if you were staying in clement weather (we were not), a lovely outdoor space is available and if you had time to walk around (we didn't, sadly), the surrounding countryside is stunning. Conscientious hosts from getting there to being greeted by Ian, obviously really care and although we did not need to get help for anything, we knew they would spring into action if needed.

Location, free parking, beautiful accommodations, just like being at home, everything provided, tastefully decorated with small special appointments. Within easy driving distance to all beaches to the north & west, to the Moors, and the many interesting small towns far and wide, even a stretch to Plymouth if on a long stay, ours just 4 days (too short!). Easy drive to Barnstaple for shopping: Majestic Wines has excellent selections and wine stewards and it is near to Tesco Supermarket for all necessities. We prepared breakfast and dinner as if at home, splurged on restaurants for lunch/ brunch at distant locations, doing so brings the cost down for a couple to staying at a hotel where all the amenities would have been lacking. Easy drive almost to top of Codden Hill a must 360 view from top. Highly recommend and agree with most all of other reviews.

We loved everything from start to finish. Our stay was made so much better by our hosts and there beautiful property. We will definitely be returning. We couldn't fault a single thing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Idyllic Stay at Snowdrop Cottage – Peaceful, Beautiful, and Relaxing We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Snowdrop Cottage in Bishops Tawton. The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The highlight for us was the private hot tub which was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Set in a peaceful and quiet location, it was the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. The surroundings are stunning, and the village has a lovely charm. The hosts were outstanding, friendly, welcoming, and always on hand if we needed anything, while still giving us total privacy. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into making the cottage a perfect retreat. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a restful, high-quality break in North Devon. We’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely modern 3 bed cottage in a great, quiet location. Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub is very large! Host came round to show us all the facilities and how to use the heating controls, oven and hot tub etc. Very friendly. They phoned us prior to our stay to ask how to make the 3 bedrooms up as were bringing 2 very young children. They text on the day when property was ready for arrival. Cleaning products and the usual kitchen essentials provided but we took most of ours anyway. Barnstaple only 7 miles away. Tesco Extra closer too for all your necessities & to re-fuel.

Nothing really. There is no dish washer but that doesn't bother us. Washing machine & tumble dryer a good feature.

Location is great and the hosts are wonderful!

Great clean spacious property. Just a short 15 min stroll to the local town. Wi-Fi was perfect and all amenities great for a holiday or a work stay that we had.
