"Coast to coast"

Location - accommodation in Shap is limited. Other places serving food was limited. Functional and needed on the coast to coast walk.

Had a family room with "ensuite". Actually had an allocated bathroom on the corridor that was treated by all other guests as communal. Continually having to wait to use our own bathroom. Some dinner choices came out as completely different meals without mention beforehand.

"Exceptional"

Perfect for a coast-to-coaster. Lovely clean, warm rooms after a long, wet walk out of the Lakes. Had a great Steak and Ale pie and a pint in the pub. Breakfast was a lovely spread, having picked my choice of a Full English on checking in. Highly recommend.
