Close to everything, lovely staff, nice breakfast

No private parking, smoking smell in the corridor,the neighborhood is quite dirty

Location was near beach but there are many noisey restaurants adjacent which are noisey with music till midnight. Good Aircon and bathroom, beds and linen.

House staff were unprofessional. Housekeeping walked into the room one day with out knocking. Staff at front desk are too young/inexperienced to deal with tourists from other cultures. Overall therefore overpriced and not reasonable value. No English channels on Tv. Info about quiet street view is innacurate

Good value for money and well located basic hotel located in centre of town within short walk of everything. Garage parking available across the road for a small fee which was great to have a secure place to leave our motorbike. The rooftop terrace café provides a lovely view over the town and bay, especially at sunset. Had a good dinner in the restaurant for 90Dh each.

Room was small with thin walls but bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Тhe ROOM was surprisingly spacious, with large French windows, offering a great view of the Theatre Afifi area, a part of the beach and the vast ocean vista with the ebb and flow cycles - great view! The two separate beds were very comfortable. An especially nice feature of the room are the VERY massive and THICK CURTAINS a blessing for a better sleep! A great asset of this hotel is the rooftop cafe with great view of the beach and the Atlantic! The BREAKFAST at La Place is exceptionally good for this price bracket! It offers a great variety of local staples like msemen, cheese dips, mini tomatoes, Moroccan mint tea and fresh juice from the best oranges in the world, to more common items like porridge, eggs, various cakes, coffee etc.etc. The breakfast staff are among the nicest and most obliging people on the planet: always kind and smiling, no matter how late you turn up for breakfast, they serve you patiently and never rush you! Amazing people! The RESTAURANT at the hotel deserves a separate mention: not only does it deliver an excellent breakfast but it also serves meals for lunch and dinner and excellent ones! Although the restaurant offers a fixed menu, Chef Hicham and Chef Yusef are great cooks and very friendly. Chef Yusef prepared especially for us on request some Moroccan specialties like Maakouda patties, Loubia bean soup, harira and chorbet adas soup, various tagines and cous-cous! Great guy and a great master of cooking - one of the best in town! Soumia and the other girls at the reception were extremely polite and willing to oblige! All in all, the staff at La Place, El Jadida impressed us with exceptional standards of friendliness and hospitality!

Practically - nothing! The surrounding area is a bit busy and can be somewhat noisy during working hours. But at night the neighbourhood is quiet + the hotel is equipped with solid double-glazing which isolates external noises quite well!

The hotel was good for the money we paid. The shower was good and hot. The view from the window was good, as we can see the ocean. The location was good, 5 min. from the beach and 5 minutes from the old town. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. We went to the rooftop restaurant for dinner, the prices were reasonable and the view was nice.

The walls are paper thin, we could hear the guy in the next room coughing and he watched TV until 3 a.m. Also, we had a room on the 5th floor, which is below the rooftop terrase and we could hear the chairs being moved.
