Casa de Alfama

Cuesta un poco llegar porque Lisboa es un laberinto y todo muy empinado pero luego que conoces la zona, es fácil. Excelente oferta de bares, restaurantes y cafés a pasos del alojamiento. Buena oferta de almohadas y toallas. Cocina super completa. El anfitrión super atento y respondió nuestras dudas al momento. Excelente calidad de wifi.

El estudio está bien para 3 personas pero el colchón de la cama del living es medio finito, incómodo para dormir. Había alguna que otra cucaracha que asumimos que venía de la calle.

Very nice small apartment that was well equipped. It was really a great value even though we did not use the kitchen except for coffee

The only problem we had was that the code to get in the electronic box did not work so we were standing outside for quite a while until we contacted booking.com and they helped us get enough information to get in. It also was a very steep climb upstairs and hills.

If I could give the host/host husband a negative score I absolutely would. The place was dirty, moldy, smelly, stains/residue chunks on different pillows and towels. Mattress was not covered. Rank cloths. When the host was contacted he didn’t bother coming to see it himself but rather sent someone he basically doesn’t know (the cleaning lady) who herself proceeded to send a complete stranger who lives in her building to investigate the complaint (She however was in complete agreement with me) The toilet flusher broke within the hour of being there. By the time someone came to fix it the following day, I was already gone. When speaking to me on the phone; Paulo was quite rude by laughing at my concerns and said that cleanliness was a matter of opinion. The sponges they left us were dirty with residual food or crusties from someone previous I’m not even sure. The pictures online are cute and fun but once you’re there and take a closer look, it becomes very gut wrenching . So gross. Gross place gross hosts. Gross experience all around.

I washed the entire shower and shower head when I got there because it had never seen a cleaning product in its life. It honestly all sucked. Leaving the accommodation was the only enjoyable part.

Abbiamo trovato l’appartamento davvero sporco, sotto i letti polvere e capelli che saranno stati lì da mesi, frigo sporco con ancora resti di chi c’era prima. Inoltre è veramente veramente piccolo, ci siamo lavati i denti e viso per 5 giorni nel lavandino della cucina perché il lavandino del bagno era minuscolo e non riuscivo nemmeno a lavarti la faccia. Dal lavandino della cucina proveniva cattivo odore. Nemmeno un armadio vuoto per poterci sistemare la roba.
