Micheal the owner and Alison who looked after us were very knowledgeable about the area and what to do. Nothing was toʻ much trouble even sourcing a sofa bed (for a small fee) after we found the floor a little uncomfortable for 2 older people.

It was a clean place with all amenities required. The host could speak English and offered a lot of details on how to get to the home from the train station.

We didn't actually spend a night there. Its a fault of our own but we noticed that the distance from the closest train station was too far for us and we would spend a lot of times commuting so we decided to leave immediately after arriving at the stay. Other thing that was a bit sad to realise is that the place was directly opposite a graveyard/shrine ( not sure how to differentiate the two ) but again, fault of our own as we should have used Google Maps to check what is close to the home. Since we didn't spend a night or even use the home, we asked the host for a refund but they didn't give us as the conditions state that its non-refundable. So my recommendation for anyone traveling is to check for places that have a refund policy especially if its your first time in that city/country and only go for the non-refundable ones if you are 100% sure that is the place you would like to stay. Lastly, the area is quite remote and in a quiet area so the silence might be extreme if that is something that you haven't experienced before. At for the time we traveled which was in March.
