Blackberry Cottage - Newly renovated cosy cottage

Great location, great view, clean, good facilities, good communication with host

Beautiful and tastefully decorated, wonderful views over the countryside. We had an excellent round trip coastal walk to Hope Cove. Close to Salcombe.

Great kitchen/dining area. Nice shower room. Good location.

Nothing that wouldn’t stop us returning, but if I was being picky….. Double bed in one of the rooms is two singles pushed together which would be fine for two persons but as a single in a double I tend to sleep in middle of the bed, this was uncomfortable due to the join, a thick mattress topper would sort this out. No dressing table in either bedroom so hair had to be dried sat on the floor or stood up.

The cottage was situated in a quiet street and the back overlooked the breathtaking countryside, beautiful views and outlook. The house was very clean and very comfortable, we wished we could have stayed longer. The area is beautiful, lots of country walks. We walked into Salcombe and on another day walked to Hope Cove, beautiful walks through the countryside and restaurants at both towns. Andrea was a great host, explained everything and the place is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable and extremely quiet. The road is filled with thatched cottages and parking was easy. Very quaint village town and the surrounding areas and beaches are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Everything was excellent

Blackberry cottage has the wow factor. It has been beautifully renovated and we were all so impressed with the layout and quality of finish. The cottage was perfect for myself, my friends and our two little pups. The garden is secure for dogs. The bed was super comfy and we particularly enjoyed the open living space in the evenings. We will be back!

We stayed at Blackberry cottage over Easter and it was perfect. The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. The view from the kitchen/living area over the fields is stunning particularly when the sun shines. The location was great for exploring Salcombe and surrounding areas. We did lots of gorgeous walks from the cottage. We hope to visit again soon! Thank you Andrea

Parking outside the cottage proved to be difficult at times but this can’t be helped given the location, there were other options nearby if unable to park outside

Great central location for the area. The cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It was so quiet! Lovely to have this available to our dog too!

Everything was excellent - the cottage was recently renovated to an impeccable standard. The host Andrea was so friendly and helpful with all recommendation. The location is so peaceful - a complete tonic if you’re need in a few days to unwind and relax!

Great location, some lovely walks close by. House is renovated to a beautiful standard, anything we needed was available and very dog friendly - especially the secure garden, bowl, bed and towels!

Possibly more tricky due to the time of year we stayed (NYE) but parking was tricky - once we moved our vehicle we were unable to park again and had to find space on a nearby road. Much to be expected in a small village though.
