The Lego themed house

With due respect it has been done with time and effort but not enough effort u to keeping it clean

I booked this quite a few months Back only to realise Lego land closed winter but as we had already booked boat etc from Northern Ireland I figured we would still go and do some other activities and sight seeing with our kids . After visited Liverpool then Lego in Manchester we travelled to spend two days in London as I had booked few things there we arrived late after 9pm due to travelling a long way as soon as I opened the door of the upstairs fiat , It had a not so nice smell when we walked in and once I had a look around I realised that they don’t take pride in the cleanliness of the house to be charging that sort of money I paid for two nights only stayed one night after raising my concerns I was told I cud get a refund for the second night so I left before check out time only to be told i would only get partial refund then the host decided to insult me saying he found it hard to believe my concerns even tho I rang him not long after arrival to raise them as did I send him pics of the dirt around the place the bin had rotten left food left in it and there was dust everywhere and I don’t mean on the Lego construction parts I mean on lights and lamps and frames around the house also food and grease marks on cupboards & washing machine fridge , also a Vending machine in the house charging extortion prices for packs of crisps which are part of a multi pack .they definitely need to rethink their prices as it’s a lot of money for what it is , after leaving with four young children and no where to go I actually had to drive to Liverpool to get suitable accommodation for my family and have had little help or assistance about my stay , it’s not even about the money it’s the principle of it all I find more upsetting to be accused of trying to scam the host “his words’ very let down and Iv used booking.com a lot this has been the worst so far

Nice place to stay!

The children loved it which was the main thing, clear instructions for the heating, plenty for them to do and really good location. New carpets, clean bedding and house.

No lamps in the children’s rooms, shower was lukewarm but the bath was amazing, window in living room had a draft and the heating upstairs wasn’t very good it was mainly down stairs.

Lovely place too stay really nice!

Loved all the Lego theme. Spacious accommodation as stayed as 5 adults and 1 child. Had everything we needed, and the vending machine was a bonus.

Proximity to Legoland

Our stay at this apartment had both positives and negatives. We loved the location, it was just a 6-minute drive to Legoland, which was perfect for our plans, and we appreciated the spaciousness for our family. We were allowed to bring our small dog which made the 2 night stay possible as it can be difficult to find a dog sitter. Shops were within walking distance, and the shop owners across the street were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The Lego theme was a cute idea, and my young son was delighted by it. However, the apartment’s quality fell short of our expectations, especially at a rate of approximately £250 per night. The smell of smoke was overwhelming upon arrival, requiring us to buy air fresheners, the host should be providing these things as a standard. Dirt marks on the walls at the entrance, this is the first impression which isn’t a good one. We encountered other cleanliness issues, such as a dirty toaster, an oven that hadn’t been cleaned, and broken shelves in the fridge with leftover items from previous guests. The shower door was also faulty, coming off its hinge as we tried to use it. The apartment itself could use some redecorating, and the grounds outside weren’t maintained—overflowing rubbish and discarded items were visible. The parking situation was also inconvenient, as the designated spot was too small for an average-sized car, leaving us to park at a nearby church. For comfort, there were some missing essentials that would have made a difference: no kitchen towel, no bath mats, and no welcome amenities like a simple bottle of water. The bedrooms with bunk beds had no lamps or nightlights, which made it difficult for my son to sleep comfortably at night. Additionally, the WiFi signal was weak on the upper floor, which was frustrating. Overall, while the location and theme were great, the quality and amenities did not meet the standards we were expecting.
