Cove Jiwana Villa

Tout était très bien, très bon séjour, l’hôtel est calme. La piscine est très sympa également ! Prenez un scooter pour vous déplacer.

Chambre pas très grande , lit confortable , grande et belle piscine , personnel sympathique et serviable. Salle de bain originale mais propreté moyenne (traces de dentifrice sur le lavabo). Nuisances sonores liées aux motos , boules quies indispensables, c’est Bali !

Draps et serviettes manifestement propres (sentaient la lessive) mais avec des tâches , piscine sans lumières (il fait nuit à 18h30), pas d’offres de petits déjeuners, établissement assez éloigné nécessite un moyen de transport . J’ai loué un scooter qui était en mauvais état et dont les tarifs étaient plus élevés que ceux pratiqués à uluwatu. Prendre un Gojek pour louer ailleurs je pense. Les matelas des transats sont en fin de vie mais font le job. Prévoir cash car Paiement par CB + 3% du tarif !

Jiwana is an oasis of peace and tranquility. This place has a very Balinese feel and, as a budget traveller, I felt it was of very good quality. There are even bathrobes and slippers to use! Everything about the villa just works to create comfort. It's spacious, the furnishings are lovely, the bed was super comfy and the indoor outdoor bathroom was functional and beautiful. The bathroom is mostly undercover, just the plants along the wall get a good soak when it rains. There was plenty of space to unpack and lots of surfaces to organise my stuff. The heavy curtains ensured a good level of darkness for sleep. The outdoor seating was another positive feature. The gardens are immaculate and the pool had steps and a ladder, and it was a good temperature. Not too warm and not too cold. There is a water dispenser set up in the lobby for refilling your bottles. Which is so handy. The location is really quiet, but if you listen really closely, you might hear some motorbikes going by, but it's really on a side road. It's a few minutes walk to a supermarket and a couple of warungs. Wooden House warung is 950m and served up a very tasty meal. I walked there, but Grab taxies are plentiful. This was a great start to my month in Bali, and has proven to be a hard act to follow.

The restaurant is not functioning, but I can understand that and there really are some great places nearby.

We had an amazing stay at the Jiwana Villa. It was decorated so nicely, and the garden and pool area was incredible. Plus good AC, fast wifi and clean room. Definitely recommend for people who don't mind staying a bit out of the busy crowd

Территория зеленая и ОЧЕНЬ ухоженная, сами бунгало (новые, стильные, необычные решения для санузла), чисто, персонал очень приветливый. Не предлагают завтраки, но по нашей просьбе дали тостер нам в пользование на время проживания) Есть ресторан на открытом воздухе, где можно посидеть и позавтракать тостами)) В каждом бунгало есть книжки, я начала читать одну, дочитать не успела, персонал любезно согласился продать мне книжку))) Пляж Меласти 12-15 минут езды, безумно красивый до отлива (то есть примерно до 14.00), купабельный хоть и волны. Вход на него платный, 15 тыс рупий с человека.

Место какое то диковатое что ли ))) хороший супермаркет вроде рядом, минут 7 пешком, но дорога идёт через какой-то неосвещаемый пустырь, и так как в 18.30 уже темно, то ходить в магазин вечером было мне страшновато - змеи на дорогах, по краям дороги овраг , и оттуда доносились звуки животных, я не разобрала каких. В общем идёшь по темноте под ногами раздавленная змея, откуда то из темени крики неопознанных животных))) мало приятного. Но сам отель супер! Тихо и спокойно.

The rooms were pretty decent and the staff there are very friendly and the place had the views of GWK so this was a bonus point

This place was absolutely gorgeous!! 😍 Really big beautiful rooms with an amazing outdoor bathroom, good AC, loads of storage space, smart TV, fridge stocked with water, tea and coffee making facilities and a great pool which was nearly always empty so had it to yourself. Really calming and relaxing environment with countryside views. Walkable to a few great restaurants and grab bikes and taxis always arrived in minutes to get around anywhere else. The value for money was absolutely incredible.

Nothing! I was abit nervous about coming here as I'd read some bad reviews, but as usual people had 5 star expectations for paying peanuts. It is a little run down, (mainly the bathroom needs a good pressure wash) but due to the very humid environment and for the price you pay it's to be expected. I've just been working in a 4 star resort in Australia that had exactly the same issues. If it wasn't they could charge hundreds per night as it's absolutely stunning. As a solo female traveller I felt completely safe here, walked alone to restaurants in the day time with no issues, got grab bikes back from Uluwatu in early hours of the morning and security let me in OK. Not having breakfast available was fine as the vegan restaurant 5 mins walk away does incredible food and coffee. If you really didn't want to walk you could always gojek or grab some food to you easily or buy your own and store in the fridge.
