Elsa d'Ortigia

Extremely well located in the very heart of Ortigia, nevertheless surprisingly quiet. Our room was very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Maria Giovanna is an excellent host and puts a lot of effort, she and her husband even organised a parking space for us when we arrived (close tp the apartment; otherwise parking would have been a challenge). Very good breakfast!

La stanza è accogliente e pulita, arredata con gusto. La colazione ricca di cose buone, adatta per risvegliarsi con calma ed entrare subito in sintonia con i profumi e i gusti di questa terra. Elsa accogliente e discreta sa sorprendere oltre ogni aspettativa: noi abbiamo trovato in stanza una bottiglia di ottimo vino siciliano per un aperitivo di buon anniversario.

Certo l’ingresso del palazzo è un po’ rustico ma ha il suo fascino di vita vera, come quei visi di persone anziane che tra le rughe nascondono sorrisi accoglienti e inaspettati.

Das Frühstück war wunderbar, sehr reichlich und sehr gut. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr bemüht, den Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Sehr persönlich und freundlich. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, mitten in Ortigia. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, close to everything and very convenient for exploring the area. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They even arranged parking for us, which was greatly appreciated since the property is located in a ZTL area and special access arrangements are needed. The apartment was spotless, well equipped with everything we needed, and even included a fridge stocked with additional drinks. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.

Everything! Personal attention from owner! Sending someone for us at the station and getting us back there even though check out was many hours before! Breakfast was generous too!

Entrance to the building is sketchy but we got used to it!

Maria Giovanna e Andrea ci hanno accolto calorosamente e si sono occupati di noi durante tutto il soggiorno, condividendo i loro ottimi consigli e indirizzi locali. ​La struttura è in una posizione ideale nel cuore di Ortigia, vicinissima al mare e ai negozi. Nota di merito per il comfort: aria condizionata impeccabile, colazioni abbondanti per tutti i gusti e una pulizia impeccabile.
