The view was stunning and it was a beautiful and quiet location. Very friendly and welcoming host.

It was a bit too far from town and amenities.

The view from the property is amazing and the location is very quiet. The size of the property was perfect for our needs. The property is located in the middle of the estate away from the road and is very secluded. If you want a rest away from it all this is the perfect spot.

There were a number of issues that left us a little disappointed: The crockery was all a little dirty and we need to wash it before we could use it. There were no pillows on the beds and we need to go hunting for them. They were in the cup'd but had not be put on the beds, which seemed a bit odd. There were no towels in our room, we again went hunting and found the towels in another rooms cup'd. There was no washing machine, which was a surprise for such a large villa. We would have expected one to be provided. There were only two loungers provided, which was fine for us, however if the Villa was fully occupied with 6 guests this would have been unacceptable. The loungers were also not the most comfortable being cheap plastic units. There were 4 deck chairs however these are no substitute for loungers. The external table was a picnic bench rather than nice out door furniture as you might expect for such a property. Functional but not what was expected. The patio is a little untidy in appearance, tiles missing, weeds, poorly repaired sections with mismatched tiles. just a bit of a shame, left the property feeling a bit unloved. The perimeter fencing was very unsympathetic, most was rusty old fencing with new security style fencing around the pool. The marketing photos do not show this new fencing which does impact on the view from the pool and patio area. Internally the property had a musty smell and had an auto dispensing scent machine to try and mask the smell. The bathrooms generally were fine but some of the detailing was missing for what was anticipated to be a luxury stay, no grill on the shower outlet, no softclose on the main bathroom WC but present on the Ensuite? There were also some other random issues, like not enough sockets in the bedroom, with the socket at the bedhead not working. No bedside lights to the main bedroom, light in the Ensuite not working. The lighting is also a bit harsh, the main lounge area is very very bright!

The location very private and peaceful. Some might find it too remote although it only a few miles to the nearest town. You soon get used to the journey. If you like wine, you are in the right place. The hosts are great and happy to show you their vineyard and how the wine is made.

We were unlucky with the weather and the pool was a bit too cold to make much use of.

Tout, l’emplacement, le calme, la vue magnifique sur les vignobles et la gentillesse de notre hôtesse. Nous étions en famille et avons apprécié notre séjour. La maison est toute équipée (on peut cuisiner et aussi faire un barbecue!) tout est très propre et la literie est bonne. La maison est climatisée, c’est un vrai atout lors des journées d’été et la piscine est un vrai bonheur pour se détendre après une journée de randonnée. Je recommande à 100%, notre seul regret : ne pas être rester plus longtemps !

Beautiful, tranquil and quiet property away from the city and surrounded by vineyards. Very helpful and personable host who treated us with generous hospitality. Excellent equipped kitchen. We were the second guests to stay at this property and the host did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend. Best to stock on up food and truly enjoy the place.
