"we made the best of it"

location was excellent for us and there is plenty of space which is nice

there were small problems like doors not closing properly- catches on wardrobe broken bigger problems were upstairs toilet broken and window in bathroom broken

"Great value for money to see Oxford's attractions."

Great location and lots of space in the house and rear garden. Off road parking.

The house could be so much nicer if some thought was put into the fixtures and fittings and decoration. It just seems like a missed opportunity for a great house in a great location.

Key lock box needs two hands to open ... but needed to hold a torch too!

"Good family home"

This is a spacious house with character, close to the centre. Plenty of plates and cutlery in the kitchen. As mentioned in the description the house is indeed tired but the owner has been upgrading parts already. Very well suited for our family of six.

Not all the beds were comfortable.

"We would definitely stay here again."

The location of the house was very good. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked. There was a grocery store and pharmacy steps away. The size of the house was perfect for our group and the second toilet downstairs was a bonus. The washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Great communication from host.

The bedrooms need small fans.

"Perfect house for large groups of friends, the UK way."

Wonderful host very thoughtful and helpful. Beautiful garden and comfy lounge and kitchen equipped for large groups. The parking is very useful and easy to use. Beside the house inside the property or in the garage.

The historic decor is wonderful but the beds could be modern.
