Lovely refurbed property inside a very old building. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining area. Good temperature and water pressure in the showers. Spotlessly clean. A short walk to La Taverna di San Giuseppe (excellent restaurant, but bookings required)

There are a few steps at the property, so be aware of these if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage: About 2 steps to enter the main door, then another step into the property. A step up into the second bedroom and 2 steps down into the main bedroom. There is no lounge area. The property is not in the centre of town (i.e. not near the Piazza de Campo), though it is within the old walls. Siena is quite steep in places, so be prepared for walking up and down hills, possibly with luggage. The train station is some distance from the old town but taxis are readily available at the station. If catching a bus into town, make sure you get the correct one - you may need to catch local buses from the basement of the shopping centre across the road from the station, though; again, make sure you get the right one so you don't end up on the bus to Grosseto like we did!

Great location. Clean apartment with good facilities. The owner /manager was very helpful.

The street was surprisingly busy given it was in the no traffic zone. The kitchen could do with more equipment.

Location was excellent and spacious appt for a group- on addition to a wonderful coffee. Very well equipped kitchen as well with oven etc.

There was no sofa to sit
