Andau Dive Resort Raja Ampat

Karin and I (Markus) stayed at Andau Dive Resort for 16 days. Incredible experiences. This island is breathtakingly beautiful, we had it almost to ourselves. The friendly staff Tahil, Aderia and the dive guide Ross and Arnold were super helpful and responded to all our wishes, We felt like one big family right from the start. I would like to return to this place sooner rather than later. The scenery and the underwater world are out of this world! We will see you

The staff is very friendly and amazing. Rooms are specious, and stuff will nicely clean it, when requested. The food was really good comparted to some other resorts, also if you are having some problems, you can request different food and staff will accommodate you.

Very expensive prices for diving and snorkeling trips, which are totally over blown, other resorts offer that with much better prices . Also very expensive prices for transportation. In the rooms more particularly only in bathroom you can meet some cockroaches, one or two, which is not a big deal as in other homestays or resorts could be more of them. More problematic I think are rats, which if you forget any food, they will be on your balcony, or they will check your bin which is on balcony each day.

Location is very remote but beautiful. Lovely staff and an amazing beach with mantas daily right in front of the Resort. Airconditioned roomes, hot shower and freshly cooked local food that was always more than enough. Brand new dive equipment and located really close to good diving spots at Piaynemo and also the homereef. Snorkling right infront of Andau is also really beautiful.

We primarly went to Raja Ampat for diving. For this plan Andau may not be the best place. Don‘t get us wrong, the equipment and the dive guides are highly skilled and we always felt super comfortable and safe to dive with them and all the dive spots are fantastic! But the price for the boat and diving is really staking up. If you are unlucky and no other guests join a trip, you pay for the full boat price, which is superexpensive. Unfortunately Ross was unavailable in the beginning of our trip so organizing everything was really hard. After we got his contact he really cared and even organized trips out of the hospital for us.🙏 It would make it far easier for guests if there would be more FAQ or informations on the booking site. Nice island. Clean and functioning AC

Disorganized staff. Expensive extras.

Rooms were good and clean, AC was working well. All of the facilities in the resort were in really good condition overall. We did multiple dives while staying there and have to thank Ross and the whole dive team, highly skilled and professional divers and all of the gear was in great condition. They also carried spare pieces of gear and emergency oxygen, which not many dive operators in RA do. All in all the best diving we have done in RA.

Single-use plastics, ie. water bottles. I think many, if not all travelers to RA bring their own water bottle with them so I would prefer to have just a way to fill my own bottle instead of being served bottled water on the trips and to our cabin.

Perfect location, stunning beach, very beautiful snorkeling, absolutely amazing staff, excellent food.

The property is located on a magical island, and has the beast beach I’ve ever been on. It’s genuinely like a paradise island. Andreeya and her team are so friendly, and are on hand to help whatever the issue. They are very accommodating. The resort has a range of activities from diving to canoes, they also have their own speedboats for day trips and to get back to Waisai or Sorong.

While the rooms are clean they have a problem with cockroaches, every evening we noticed about 4/5 cockroaches in our room. The activities and boat ride were very expensive.
