AMARAV Pension House Nacpan El Nido

Great location, friendly team, modern building. Plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby at walking distance. You can rent motorbikes on site, organise tour and everything like that.

Internet is only available outside on the porch. So OK for holidays but not if you are working.

Hahaha, I travel solo but got an 8 person family room. So yeah, I had lots of space and two airco's. Comfortable bed, bathroom had hot water but low water pressure (like everywhere around here). You have a little seat in front of your room which is a nice touch. They have Starlink and solar, so decent internet even during the many blackouts. All in all a pretty decent stay for a reasonable price (for El Nido standards that is)

The second day I found out there is hot and cold drinking water and even a kitchen (from another guest). Would be much nicer if they tell you that during check-in. Otherwise really nice people, just a tad passive. It's good to know that Nacpan is far far from the bus station and El Nido beach town. Tricycles will all try to rip you off for 1200 php. Best rent a scooter and drive yourself (Go to Hustler Motor Rental, 500 a day)

The AC was working at least. Warm water but no water pressure. Toiletpaper, but no Soap. Free Water Dispenser was awesome. We got Cups and some Plates after asking the Staff. Scooter Rental straight from the Hotel for 500 PHP per Day - no Discount for more Days... Rooms are more spacious then in the Rest of the Philipines. Good Spot for the incredible Nacpan Beach.

No cleaning in between. Hard to get new Towels for a stay of 4 Nights. No Mountain View, Backyard view. Smelly Bathroom and loud AC. Its like a Jet starts in your Sleepingroom. Expensive Tranpsort to El nido Port - Different Prices for other nationalitys...

Good price, clean. About 8 min walk from the most beautiful beach in the area with fresh ocean water and waves! Be careful you don’t get caught in the riptide!

Toilet didn’t always flush well but I think that is common for the area. The power in the area goes out frequently but usually comes back quickly.

5-10 minute walk from beach. Surrounded by delicious local restaurants. Effective air conditioning. Good value for money.

Bathroom had an odd smell when fan was on. Same with the air conditioning.

Near to the Nacpan beach, good mattrace

Absence of 5G/LTE signal, just no signal at all. Poor wifi which working just outside on the terrace where are tons of mosquitos, really bad toilet which just dont flush, there was no toilet paper but still impossible, not nice… Also no mirror there, not even soap in the bathroom.

The location is good, 10 minute walk to the Nacpan beach and 3 minute walk to the Twin beach. There is hot water almost all the time and AC when there is no power outage.

Cleanliness itself is alright, although each day the room gets pulleyed with the smoking smells from outside which is to the level where you need to wear a mask as it’s quite dangerous for health. Also all clothes inside the room got the smell which is quite disgusting, we had to rewash everything. Wifi is there but you can use it only outside the room which is quite inconvenient as in the evening you get all types of bugs flying and crawling on to you. Also it’s not fast Wifi, you can browse but not have any calls, barely watch videos, and it disappears occasionally. Water pressure was so low in the shower that you don’t really understand whether all shampoo is out from the hair, maybe it was just my room. First day the water didn’t go out when flushed in the toilet, but they fixed the day after. There is a lot of mosquitos in the room, first night they put some incense outside, but nothing other nights and no mosquito net to protect in the bed. We got only one small towel each for 4 nights stay, and as nothing dries in the humid room, wasn’t nice to each time use more and more wet towel. The owners are trying to do their best to support but it doesn’t improve the experience much. The cleaning ladies feels like trying to avoid any of the guests eye contact to not be asked any questions and walk invisibly. Cherry on the top for our experience as the van we booked from the owner to go to Puerto Princesa which they highlighted that is direct from our village to the airport and was supposed to take 4-5 hours which we were expecting and prepared for, instead in turned out to be the worst ride we had in Philippines during whole month we stayed there. The arrived late for over an hour. It took us over 8 hours and even before reaching El Nido we spent 1.5 hours driving around, not talking all the stops after. A lot of people getting nauseous in the van. Luckily we made our flight on time, but make sure you book van from El Nido to get better experience.

Good value. Kind staff. A decent budget option when you want to have AC and stay just 8 min walk to Nacpan Beach which is easily the nicest beach where you can stay (without a million dollars) in the El Nido region.

Toilet had very very slow flush - many times thought it may not! But I think this is typical for the whole area.
