Good view, clear air, cozy and vast nature.

단 5개의 객실, 대형침대 한개보다는 트윈침대로 구성했으면 좋겠다. 룸에서 통신이 안된다. 룸까지 이동하는 것이 어두운 밤에 불편하다.

"Very Good"

7.0

The food was good, the staff were friendly, and we saw lots of wildlife.

There were several huge spiders in our room. (#4) Also it was really hot and there wasn't a fan or screens on the windows too be able to open them with all the bugs.

"A perfect blend of nature, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!"

Zebra Safari Lodge-Kidepo gave me an incredible safari experience with stunning views of Kidepo. The cottages are comfortable, cozy mattresses with private verandahs perfect for watching wildlife up close. The food was excellent, the staff are warm and helpful, and the hot shower after my game drive was a great comfort. Manager Brian you are doing a good job in your staff, will definitely return to spend more time during summer, rdgs, Andy

"Excellent Stay in Kidepo National Park"

8.0

Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic near the entrance of the park. Very quiet location, great view of the park with animals roaming around the lodge and watering hole.

The wifi did not work that well but I understand the location makes this challenging. The meals were not good value. At USD$25 per person per meal I think there should be more than just rice and vegetables and a few slices of water melon. Some days they were very good with good 3 course meal and then the next there would be very basic. That is a bit high priced for that meal and does not include anything to drink (fruit juice or anything of that nature). Anything to drink is additional cost. That is weird and seems to be common in Uganda.

"Completely overpriced for what it offers - if you find a cheaper place to stay nearby, go for it!"

5.0

The lodge is a 5min drive from the gate of Kidepo Valley NP. The lodge seems to be quite new; the cottage is spacious and it offers great views across the valley. Dinner was quite good. The dinner was tasty.

I don't need luxury but given the high price (USD 140 for a room/single use per night, which was above my normal budget), I would have expected a much better level of service: although the room was new, the equipment was quite basic (no ventilator or A/C, hairdryer, wifi...). Besides, the room was not cleaned during my 2-night stay. During dinner (22 USD), I wasn't asked whether I want to drink sth and when I went to the 'bar' to get a glass of wine, they only had (warm) sweet white/rosé wine. Beside me, only two more rooms were occupied, so this wasn't a question of busy staff. I could not pay when making the reservation but was contacted twice before my arrival and asked how I intend to pay (I replied visa). Not upon check-in but while having dinner the first night, I was asked to pay as 'the money takes two days to arrive in our bank account and the management wants to make sure the money has arrived when the guests check out'. Since it was dark and I'd left my card in the room, I said I'd pay the following morning. Although I had my card with me at breakfast, they only ran after me when I was about to get in the car for a game drive; then, their card reader wasn't working...
