Silvia and Gabriele were the most gracious and nicest host ever! Firstly, the accommodations were wonderful; clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with artwork and the most modern conveniences in the rooms and throughout the house. The breakfasts were like gourmet meals with hot and cold options including fresh cheeses, meats, smoked trout, eggs, breads, pastries cereal, and cappuccino! Our hosts even offered us an outside sink area and clothesline to wash clothes, which was helpful because we arrived by motorcycle and had to pack lightly. Parking for the motorcycles was right next to the house which was safe and secure. Silvia contacted us in advance to book us a reservation for a modest yet wonderful family resturant for dinner on our first night that was within walking distance. The following day, Silvia and Gabriele offered to drive us to and pick us up from a local waterfall that had cool pools of water to float in after a very hot day of exploring the area by motorcycle. In addition, they offered to drive us all to a wonderful local restaurant in mountains overlooking the valley; a place that we would not have found on our own. All of these extra gestures were so appreciative, especially when traveling long days by motorcycle. Lastly, Silvia and Gabriele were truly genuine people in that they were sweet, kind, engaging, funny, and selfless in terms of making sure we all had a good time and were comfortable. Their energy was infectious and helped make wonderful memories for this 10-day morotcycle trip. We felt as though we made some friends after being with them for only 2 nights! Stay here if you can; you will leave smiling!

Nothing!! Everything was great and beyond our expectations.

Silvia & Gabriele, the owners of this exquisite hotel are MAGNIFICENT!! They are Fabulous people. This place is Divine! Book it as quickly as you can!! They are both so gracious, kind-hearted, welcoming & generous. Truly, they should be training others in the hotel business. The service they provided to us was outstanding. My husband and I were traveling with another couple on a motorcycle trip through the alps. The hotel itself is gorgeous and so tastefully decorated with beautiful art & creativity everywhere you look. It is a peaceful oasis. Our room was most lovely and warm. The hotel is quiet & so relaxing. We were all so Happy staying here as a result of the owners' warmth & generosity. Breakfast was magnificent each morning! It was like eating at a posh restaurant with abundant offerings. Food was fabulous with many choices offered; & most accommodating for two of us who are vegetarians. Prior to arriving, Sylvia & Gabriele thoughtfully suggested we have dinner a few blocks away, and recommended a lovely restaurant. We wanted to cool off after a long day in the sun hiking & motorcycle-riding & Silvia literally drove us & Gabriele picked us up from a local beautiful river. Another night, they took the four of us and another couple staying at the hotel to a magnificent restaurant up in the mountains. It was spectacular! It felt like we had traveled to the top of the world dining in old-world magnificence. We hope to return! This is a piece of heaven! Besides staying at a gorgeous place, we made new friends with Silvia & Gabriele; & we look forward to continuing our conversation & connection with them. Our rating: 100 stars!

Totally rebuilt from scratch

Lovely family room and very friendly owner and staff.

It was amazing how the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The attention to detail for even the smallest things was great. The breakfast was a delicious spread of home-made local preparations. I will never forget the hospitality experienced. I'd love to go back someday.

It was very nice, clean , spacious, decorated with a lot of details . The owner Silvia and husband were excellent host. Their Restaurant recommendation was excellent. Even showed us the way to it. Great choice.
