CasaLì - Apulian Charming Apartment

Good location and quiet. Good air conditioning. Kitchen was good. The bed room and couch were comfortable. Good closet space. Ironing board & Iron. Would rather have a washing machine than a dishwasher.

The shower needs a new sprayer and holder. Very tight to get into shower. Add a power strip to kitchen appliances so you done have to keep changing plugs.

La atención de Daniela, a pesar de ser todo gestionado online, nos hizo llegar su amabilidad en todo momento. Nos sentimos como en casa.

Estuvimos muy bien, pero sí tener en cuenta que es un apartamento pequeño y no llega el ascensor. Aún así, para nosotros, dos adultos y un bebé, fue una buena experiencia.

Absolutely brilliant place to stay. In the middle of the city of Bari - close to the beach front, Old Town and the train station. The apartment is spotless, has plenty of room and is very cosy.

My partner is tall so he had to duck every time he walked into a new room. We would have liked more cutlery - sharp knife to cut fruit and a chopping board.

Daniela has a perfectly situated place. Room - only 10 steps to the room from the beautiful doors and entry lobby, and the room has an inner courtyard access, useful when warm outside. Daniela can operate the heating/AC remotely, extremely convenient. There are a lot of other little things she does to make it high tech. The wifi takes longer to set up due to security reasons, but Netflix is available once you are "live". An awareness observation about size is that I'm 6'1" (188cm), the doorways are 180 cm +/-, and the shower access about 32 cm, but if you're shorter/smaller it's not something to notice. Daniela knows the city, always gives the most excellent recommendations, and seems to have the highest quality connections. Grocery - fantastic quality at Numeri Primi 1.5 blocks away for milk or anything including a great natural food selection. Transportation - for the airport she found us a taxi, 30€ w tip for 15 min, vs 50€ standard, 14€ for train/bus for 1 hr, or 2€ for shuttle bus/bus for over an hr. We took the train in and ended up w her personal taxi connection on the way out. Restaurants - there are many restaurants and it is so difficult to tell which one will warrant a good experience, but Daniela scores 12 out of 10 for her recommendations. We ate at her recommendation of Tiella, two blocks away, and it was one of our best experiences in southern Italy for the value. Also, rather than guess on our breakfast preferences, she gave us coupons to what must be the #1 bakery/cafe in the region, Salvatore Petriella in the Teatro Petruzzelli. Daniela has exquisite taste and high standards, and will treat you as such. She was also so kind as to let us leave our bags after checkout to explore the city, although this might not work for other situations. Thank you so much Daniela!
