"Great little rustic stay near the Croatian border."

A rustic inn that delivered good service and excellent food,and provided a clean and comfortable room for an exceptional value. The well tended garden added a touch of beauty. We had a home cooked dinner and chose regional plates. They were excellent. The large portion of beer-braised pork leg with pan fried cabbage and roasted potatoes was tasty. The recommended poppyseed bread pudding was also interesting and good. Breakfast was good, and the cappuccinos were above standard. The host was very accommodating and he and his family made our short stay a pleasant one.

There was no soap in the bathroom, and the pillows were a little awkward and hard. It got a little humid during the night.
