Dew Drop Villa

Clean pool and great breakfast! Location is very calm-2 km from Tangalle centre. But there are shops and restaurants around.

Breakfast was great. We had eggs (scrumbled or two sides - you can choose), toast with jam, coffe and tea and also some fruit or smoothie :)

Very nice villa with comfortable bed, very friendly staff, nice pool area. Special thanks to Hassy, villa owner who was extremely helpful when my friend got sick and he brought us fresh water from supermarket. Location is great, close to gorgeous beach. It was couple of minutes away from Weligama center where it’s louder.

At first we had towel with holes but staff quickly and kindly got new ones.

The renovated air-conditioned rooms are clean and comfy. . The pool area is fine .

The non air conditioned rooms are a bit mouldy and not as nice.

A beautiful place a few minutes' walk from the beach with a beautiful pool and a bar where you can make coffee cocktails and enjoy. Also, the rooftop bar that offers a beautiful view of the sea is perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. The rooms are clean, large and very nicely decorated with a beautiful balcony for morning coffee. The best accommodation on our trip around Sri Lanka and we were very sorry that we had to continue our journey and could not extend our stay. The host is a great man who is always ready to help you and meet whatever you need. A big recommendation for this accommodation, which I recommend that you book as soon as possible because it is almost always full, since satisfied guests always return. Once again, many thanks to the host and if our trip brings us to Sri Lanka again, we will definitely stay here again.

Hassie and the team at dew drop were so helpful. The rooms are big, the pool is awesome and the location is perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

A very nice building with two rooftop terraces and the room was great with a terrace and direct access to the pool--very comfortable.

I wish there would be automatic sheet changes and sweeping/mopping of the floors after 3-4 days--without AC and with showering and swimming, things can use a "freshening up." But that's my feeling everywhere, not just here. Some of the sheets were of really nice quality cotton whereas others were maybe a polyester blend. The pillows and some of the sheets could use replacing....

Absolutely great for surfing. Right in front of the beach. Great and very helpful owner. Good breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean with AC, bright light and comfy.
