super gemütliche und schöne unterkunft. es gab alles was wir benötigten und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. es war ruhig und nur wenige gehminuten zum sherwood forest.

wenn ich was negatives anmerken muss, dann nur, dass bei der ankunft leider einige pfannen und teller nicht richtig sauber waren. das war schade, weil wir dann erstmal selbst abwaschen mussten. aber abgesehen davon, war es wirklich super in der unterkunft :)

Really lovely cottage in a perfect location. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a warm, cosy atmosphere that we felt at home straight away. There was more than enough space for the two of us and our dog. Sam was very helpful and checked in to make sure we’d got into the property OK, which was much appreciated. Parking on the road was easy and we always found a space. It’s also only a short walk into town and Sherwood Forest. We had a great stay and would happily come back.

The property was described as having parking. However, the only parking was on a narrow, fairly busy road. This meant parking as close as possible to the wall at the edge of the road - so you could not access that side of the vehicle. This was a real problem, especially with the dog. I struggled to get water out of the shower and what I could get was freezing cold. Not very useful in mid-December. The stairs are steep and twisty.

Beautifully done out cottage with everything we needed. Loved the log fire, so cozy. Close to town and walked to both Sherwood Forest and Rufford Abbey from there. Few nice pubs in the village and some craft shops near the forest.

Bed was a little hard for me.

A delightful little cottage just a stone's throw from Sherwood Forest. Furnished in a very unique and tasteful way. Equipped with everything you need, and made even more cosy by the fireplace and comfortable sofa. It was a real pleasure to stay there. Sam, the owner, was kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Nothing to complain.

I loved everything about my stay at this very cosy cottage (well named indeed!). In fact, I would be happy to move in. It felt so much like a home and I wished it were autumn or winter so I could bask in front of a roaring fire! Luckily it is England so there was a little rain and I enjoyed snuggling into the chesterfield with a blanket and tea that evening. The property was very easy to access, super private and Sam was really a great communicator. Everything was spotless. It is in a fantastic location. I also loved having an entire room for my clothes and dressing. It's great to be able to hang things up when you're travelling. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Outstanding!

Lovely little cottage, my mum loved it as a birthday treat visit to Nottingham and Sherwood forest. Would definitely recommend
