Beach Road Bed and Breakfast

We loved the location and the home was clean and nicely updated. We were greeted with a welcome envelope taped to the door with need-to-knows inside. The room was small but sufficient, and it was ready when we arrived. The continental breakfast was simple yet plentiful, and the fridge was well stocked with bottled water, juice, and soft drinks. Refreshments and wine were out each afternoon.

The only real recommendations for improvement would be the mattress and the WiFi. The mattress was worn and led to a few too many aches and pains in the morning, and the WiFi signal was intermittent at best (although it did appear that the owners were trying to address the problem with extenders). We didn't meet the owners, or if we did they didn't introduce themselves. Not necessarily a bad thing, but...

Paper said there was a bathroom on the first floor but I don’t think there was, this is so small though, the stay was amazing!!

The location was great. The pool was very nice. The breakfast and happy hour were good.

The mattress seemed old and very uncomfortable.

The place was so cool. Very quiet. The snacks and breakfast that the owner leaves out for the guests is so amazing. He was so accommodating of our dogs. The other guests were also very accepting of our dogs. This place was adorable and we will definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay to celebrate my 40th as a family of 5, including 7 years old triplets and a dog! It’s a beautiful, super clean property very much by the beach, may be a 2 minute walk to beach access. We had 2 rooms next to each other, one with a balcony which was great to unwind at the end of the day. There were no other guests the nights we stayed which made us feel like we had the house to ourselves. The owner is suuuper nice and welcoming! Helped us when we accidentally lost one of the room’s key, in a very friendly manner. Red and white wine, and snacks for adults, kids and pets were set up in the kitchen every evening. Every morning we woke up to breakfast and thought the sweet treats were very thoughtful. My kids enjoyed the pool, wish we had stayed longer and hope to stay at this place again!

This place was ideal. Pet friendly, inviting, uncomplicated, practically on beach, and an awesome little pool. Id recommend this place to anyone. Continental breakfast is pushing it alittle but there is complimentey food and drink and its truly considerate. I felt safe the whole time i was able to comfortably leave my beach buggy out by the front door without fear of theft. Staff Err.. the gentleman that showed me to my room was very nice and i only ever saw him once. If you stay here be kind and dont rough the place up.

Wow! Amazing pet friendly place! My room had a nice-sized balcony (with a great view). The pool was amazing! The beach parking access lot was only yards away (so my car mostly stayed in the spot at the house). Nice light breakfast, snacks out (oink) and wine/cheese (guzzle) in the evening. I felt a little guilty about my wine consumption, but you literally can spend all your time right there (between the beach, the balcony and the pool)

No frowny-face things at all. Everything was perfect! I guess I would want a bigger room if I had come with another person (especially if they also had two dogs lol). There was a small room that looked great if you had kids. The third room - in the front on the second floor - would have been ideal if I wasn't super price sensitive. Great value on my room for sure! The other isn't overpriced -- just prime! I stayed in some other places this trip - all good but this one was by far my favorite.
