Collection O Banwiang Guesthouse

I returned to Chiang Mai for the brief stay and delighted to see this guest house was available. Once again staff is amazing - ftiendly and helpful. And the location and price is hard to beat

The room with air con is nice and spacious. Big bed, good desk area for working, and warm shower too. The location is amazing and the staff is helpful. I have stayed here many times and always a good experience.

Great quiet location, kind, efficient helpful staff. Simple budget accommodation. Fridge in room but no kettle however the owner made me hot water every morning. Good massage place next door.

The location is good, it's near Tha Phae gate and other spots. It's in the neighborhood as well. It feels like a home away from home.

The location is wonderful, inside the fort, just a few steps from the Tha Phae Gate but on a quiet side street with minimal traffic. A few minutes walking are some nice coffee shops, a bakery and a night market fit for the taste of a foreigner. Local food can be sourced from the outside border of the fort, some quite nice restaurants there. The owner of the guesthouse is really nice and helpful. The beds are hard but fit for our taste.

Our room was located on the second floor, but the staircase was extremely steep. Not a problem if you don't have small kids though. What was really disturbing was the constant smell of cannabis from the hallway. There were cigarette buds on the stairs every morning and as there are gaps under the doors at some point it felt as if someone was smoking in our room. As nonsmokers it was quite off-putting. The cleanliness of the room was more or less ok, but the balcony was really dirty. The aircon in the bathroom is very loud and you cannot switch the light on without it. The door to the bathroom was about to fall off so couldn't be closed.

Amazing location, just down an alley from the UN Irish Bar. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Rooms are a bit basic. Stairs is incredibly narrow
