I don’t even know where to begin. I loved every single part of my stay here. The couple living here made me feel like I was a part of their family. The wife cooked me all my meals which were not only cheap but also so delicious. They made sure I was okay and I felt safe all the time. Besides they helped me with my further travels so I was prepared for the next step. I had a lot of conversations with the wife, and even tough her English is not the best, it was a joy. There is really not much to do on Monroe Island, but the husband of the family helped me with a bike and a kayak. My deepest thanks to the both of you!

The house can be a little difficult to find, so make sure to contact the couple before, so you can get some guidelines.

The room was okay.....

...., but the surrounding was covered by waste! The tents are in a wasted area no tables or chairs and the campfire is to burn the waste!

Home made healthy freshly cooked food in large portions with a bright smile.

Tent wasn't equipped with a western style toilet.

I recommend 100% Great location and quiet. Very friendly and helpful host, they helped me to book a cab. They organise activities such as kayaking or boat tours. They also offer homemade breakfast/lunch or dinner for less than 200 rupees. I stayed a night there. They have rooms in an independent house and in their own house where they live. I stayed in a room in their house. Great wifi (30 Mbps)

If I can say something I like less, in this room, the bathroom was small and not so convenient.

Amazing stay, we feltl like at home. Perfect location with possibility to rent kayak and bycicle. The owners are always doing everything to make us the most confortable as possible. Also, the food cooked by the owner was so tasty, and very very cheap.

Namaskar baba :) This is the most coolest and calm place what we found with the good atmosphere. Host are our friends already :) So what I can tell more?!)) You can find from Ginsen everything what u need. And specially you can go by kayak from your place whatever you want.. This is most amazing thing which I ever sow.. Cheers bro

Fantastic place with the best, kindest hosts I have met in India! Great place in a quiet village. Delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners made by the owner are available at the property. Available backwaters tour, island trip, kayaking.... I recommend wholeheartedly.
